The President's View - November 2008

Happy Holidays!

As we round the end of the year into the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year's Season, let's pause to give thanks for all those who help! Volunteering is a huge part of any association and we're not just talking about the people who are always out front of any project. I'm talking about the members who email items to us, who call with questions, to members who can't participate but faithfully renew their membership and look forward to their newsletter. An association is made up of people who  share a common goal (preservation of Route 66) yet have real lives with jobs, children and extended family.
