An extraordinary woman, Lucille Pech, 95, of Atlanta passed away on Saturday, July 13th at her daughter's home.
Lucille was a wonderful woman and enthusiastic volunteer for the Atlanta, Illinois, community.
Lucille was quick-witted, charming, always helpful and she loved being involved and a part of the Atlanta community. Services for her will be on Tuesday, July 16th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home, 202 NW Vine Street, Atlanta, Illinois 61723. Lucille worked at the Atlanta Museum as the curator. She was a founding member of the Logan County Tourism Bureau, member of the Friends of Historic Atlanta, Atlanta A-Team, Hawes Grain Elevator Society, Illinois General for Volunteerism, Atlanta Women's Club and the Route 66 Association of Illinois. She had volunteered at the New Salem State Park for 10 years.
