Hall of Fame and Museum Clean Up Day

Another Reason to Participate in This Year’s Motor Tour!

We’re sweetening the pot for those participating in this year’s 25th Annual Motor Tour by giving them an commemorative aluminum license plate, bearing the official tour logo. This license plate is for decorative purposes only, highly collectable and quantities are limited. Each registration for the Motor Tour will receive a license plate as a bonus for your paid registration. One license plate will be given to each registration received.

Edwardsville, IL Route 66 Festival

Come get your kicks on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 at the City of Edwardsville's 2014 Route 66 Festival!

City Park opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13th and closes at 12:00 a.m.

Saturday’s festivities begin at 8:00 a.m. with a 10K Race and continues on throughout the day with a talent show, classic car cruise and car show, family fun zone, food court, art fair, wine and beer tent and more! Festival evenings also include live music and dancing galore. Mark your calendar!

Elkhart Bird Watcher Walks

On Saturday, April 26 the Elkhart Historical Society will host Bird Watcher Walks on beautiful Elkhart Hill. The walks will be offered at 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., leaving from Governor Oglesby Street in historic downtown Elkhart.

Walkers will enjoy looking for the migratory birds that pass through Elkhart Hill every spring. The Bird Watcher Walks are a perfect opportunity for a spring family event. The outing will be on foot, so walkers should dress for the weather (rain or shine), wear good walking shoes and bring insect repellent. And don’t forget the binoculars! Walks last approximately 90 minutes.
