R.I.P., Scott Cameron, of Route 66 Sodas

We are sad to report that Scott Cameron, president and CEO of Route 66 Sodas in Lebanon, Missouri, has passed away at the age of 76.

Annual Museum Workday

Saturday, March 21, 2015 - 9:30am

Come help us spruce up our Hall of Fame and Museum for tourist season! It's our annual museum workday! Bring your volunteerism, enthusiasm and appetite. We'll be cleaning and repairing the inside and outside of the museum as well as Bob Waldmire's bus out back! Because "we work for food," lunch will be provided by the Association to all workers!

Official 2015 Motor Tour Logo

It's ready! The official logo for our 2015 Motor Tour, entitled, "Miners, Mobsters and the Mother Road!" The Motor Tour, our signature annual event will take place June 12 - 14, this year beginning north, in Berwyn, IL. This logo will appear on our Motor Tour registration forms, T-shirts and Motor Tour giveaway materials.

Our dedicated Motor Tour committee has already been diligently at work making plans for this, our 26th annual trek along the Illinois section of Route 66.

R.I.P Tom Wise, Mayor of Gardner, IL

Thank you, John Weiss, for providing the following sad information to us:

Tom Wise, the Mayor of Gardner passed away last Sunday, February 7, 2015.

The wake will be held Thursday February 12th, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty St, Gardner, IL. Funeral will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 13.

Our sincere condolences to Mr Wise's family, friends and the citizens of Gardner.
