Joliet Area Historical Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center

The Joliet Area Historical Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center offer interactive exhibits for all ages. They also offer a unique gift shop which sells not only keepsakes but games and toys as well.

Located on the corner of Historic Route 66 and the Lincoln Highway, this is one of only two places in the nation that thoose two famous roads cross. Both are now National Scenic Byways.
