The Ultimate Betrayal
The Insanity Trial of Mary Lincoln

The second event on November 1 is a unique look at the insanity trial that committed Mary Todd Lincoln to an insane asylum. Actress Pam Brown will again portray Mary Lincoln in The Ultimate Betrayal, in which the former First Lady describes the trial, her incarceration, and how she was finally released due in large part to articles published by the press. Donna Daniels, a member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters and a founding member of the Mary Lincoln Coterie, is the author of this presentation.

Blazin' the Trail for Children" Wilderness Run

The 4th annual "Blazin' the Trail for Children" Wilderness Run is coming!
Run is based on a 5k route set in a hardwood forest, prairie area that partially follows a river bed, banks, and nature made obstacles.

All proceeds to benefit the Livingston County Children's Advocacy Center.

2014 Ride for the Relay Begins in Chicago

Fox writes: "The 2014, the “Ride for the Relay” will be leaving Navy Pier for the 9th year in a row, traveling Old Route 66 (as much as we can safely travel) raising money for the American Cancer Society. We are a group of motorcycle riders, (average age 66) but we have cars, jeeps and trucks making the ride with us every year. I have riders that have gone 6 years with me and are going again.

10th Anniversary Open House at Route 66 Association of Illinois Hall of Fame & Museum

It's our birthday! Come celebrate our 10th year at an open house at our Hall of Fame and Museum, 110 Howard St, Pontiac, IL!

There will be free refreshments and other special offerings during the celebration. All visitors to the museum during the Open House will be invited to register for some Route 66-related door prizes.
