The six-to-eight week journey will begin in Portland, Oregon and end at the Santa Monica Pier via the Route 66 starting point in Chicago, Illinois. Their adventure will include car shows along the way, sight-seeing at many locations on their bucket list including sites in South Dakota - Custer, Sturgis, Mt. Rushmore, and Crazy Horse Memorial including sleeping in a tepee along the way. The Route 66 Car Show in Springfield, Illinois will be a highlight, along with visiting St. Louis and Joplin. Their wives will join them in Albuquerque for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and visiting Santa Fe.
