The "Making Memories" Tour will be rolling along the Mother Road Friday, June 13th through Sunday, June 15th, 2014. Want to learn all about our Motor Tours? Read, So What is a Motor Tour Anyway? here on our website. Read a Motor Tour recap from a family who participated last year. Also, check out our Flickr slideshows of Motor Tours past. We're sure once you learn what fun and adventure happens on a Motor Tour, you'll be especially excited to join us for this year's extra-special event.

On the Saturday evening of our Motor Tour weekend, we hold our annual Hall of Fame Banquet honoring this year's distinguished group of Route 66 inductees to our Hall of Fame. The banquet is held during the Tour weekend, however, there is a separate charge to attend, should you wish to join us for dinner and the induction ceremony.

This year, as an added incentive to participate in our Motor Tour, our Preservation committee is offering a one-time-only gift: The complete archives of our Association's Quarterly Newsletters, The 66 News on DVD! That's 100 issues of a publication that has celebrated the Mother Road, our Association and our efforts to "preserve, protect, preserve and educate" Route 66 in Illinois throughout our 25 years.

It's a very special opportunity to own and peruse a chronicle of Route 66's history, told by those who care for her miles and appreciate her significance. Each paid registration for our Motor Tour will receive a DVD. Can't make the Motor Tour? You can still receive a DVD by paying the registration fee. Please note: DVDs are not for sale. The only way to receive one is with a paid Motor Tour registration. One DVD per registration.

A second bonus to Motor Tour registrants has been made available! The Association will also give a commemorative aluminum license plate with each paid Motor Tour registration. Click for complete details.

Since this is our Making Memories Tour, we'd like to include your memories in our tour activities. If you have a photo you’d like to let us use of you on any of the tours, please either send a photo file or a photo we can scan and return to you. Email photo files to President Cathie Stevanovich at cathiesb@earthlink.net or mail tour photos to Tour Photos, 110 W. Howard, Pontiac, IL 61764.

Please do join us for a memorable celebration of Route 66 this June! We look forward to making memories with you along the Mother Road!
