Celebration Honoring Military Veterans/95th Birthday of Route 66

The VFW Malcolm J. Mayo Post 5422, 557 West Baltimore Street, Wilmington, IL, will be rededicating a Blue Star* Memorial Highway plaque. This special location is directly alongside the original Route 66 in front of the VFW building.
This will be a solemn – but joyful – fun event honoring our fabulous Military Veterans and the “Mother Road”, Route 66.
Food will be available for purchase at the VFW. Fun activities to follow.
*The Blue Star program honors all men and women that served in the United States armed services.*
Program begins – 11:00am
Route 66 Band – Noon – 4:00pm
